Body Workshop

Mo Yingshi (Vinci)

Urban people no longer think of themselves as a part of nature. We have long been accustomed to being air-conditioned, exercising in the gym, being unable to sit for a long time at work, and so on.

Disengagement from nature, in exchange for a detachment from the body’s senses, we have to wait for the body to issue a warning  , Aches in the back and back to feel the fatigue of the body.

The body shape workshop re-examined with the participants, aware of the body, breathing in the fresh air, swinging the body, and occasionally lying on the ground  , Step on the ground,

Respond to the environment and ecology of Tai Sang Wai in physical form, and listen to the call of nature.

*In the course, the instructor will lead the students to start from feeling the body to the land and the environment.

Carry out physical exercises, experiments, and creations based on environmental characteristics. The instructor does not want to set an upper limit on age, physical training, and experience.

But if you come to participate, please don’t mind getting your clothes and body dirty, and weigh any risks in the process by yourself.

We are not able to give special care to individuals in individual situations (emphasize that the course does not require any high-risk movement training).

"Fish Ears" Workshop

Sound out of pocket

Sound has designed a "Fish Ear" workshop especially for the Fish Pond Yuanye Art Festival.

The artist tutor will lead the participants to explore the sound, listening and environment through listening exercises and mini games.

And try different ways to collect sounds floating in the air and in the water, and rediscover the soundscape around the Tai Sang Wai fish pond with auditory sense.

Dream Catcher Workshop

Mishtar

The dream catcher comes from the Ojibwa culture in North America. It is a kind of handicraft. Generally, willow trees are used as frames, with loose webs or spider webs woven in the middle.

The Ojibwa people believe that a dream catcher can "capture" good dreams and stop nightmares.

The dream catcher workshop focuses on environmental protection and nature. Participants are encouraged to pick up the dead branches and leaves of nature at Tai Sang, and use them as raw materials to upgrade and create dream catchers, bringing the elements of local nature into their homes and adding to their lives pleasure.

Note: Participants are also welcome to bring other recycled fabrics that they would like to join in the creation  (Old shirts/hand towel fabrics, etc.)
