TSE  Chun Sing

Now he is a master student of the Department of Fine Arts of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His creative types include sound, video, installation, performance and various social participation art. While expressing ideas and exploring the possibility of artistic extension through creation, he also often collects recordings and objects of different people, events, objects, and locations. In 2011, he led sound workshops and exhibited works in different public spaces and galleries. In 2012, he began to perform experimental sound works in theaters. The "Language" series was invited to perform in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan from 2012 to 2013. From 2011 to 2016, he held performances, art exchanges, in-residence art creations and exhibitions in Kenya, Cardiff (UK), and Mumbai (India). In addition, he also participates in independent music creation and orchestra activities in Hong Kong with a variety of instruments.

 

 

Tse Chun Sing is currently studying Master of Fine Art in the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His art creations vary from sound, video, installation, performance, and public art projects. Besides giving out ideas and exploring the infinite possibilities of art, he keens on collecting objects and recording sound from different people, situations, and places. His artworks were shown in galleries, public spaces, and he led several sound workshops and sound-walks since 2011. In 2012, He started his sound performance entitled “language” in theatre, which focus on sound clips of human speeches. Then he toured the “language” series in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Taipei from 2012 to 2013. During 2011 to 2016 he was invited as resident artist touring Kenya, Mumbai (India), Cardiff (UK). He also plays as multi-instrumentalist in indie music scene in Hong Kong.
