“Views from the Bridge – Lo and Behold” Sharing
The bridge in Chung Mei appears to artist Pauline Lam as the center of Lamma Island. Standing on the bridge, one can not only see the mudflat underneath, but also the Sok Kwu Wan main street, the piers and even the Southern District from afar. Captivated by the shadows which vary with the time of the day, Pauline spent hours observing on the bridge, thus discovering the mudflat as a lively habitat for many species. In this sharing session, Pauline will talk about her source of inspiration and the engagement of the kids and residents from Lamma, which have brought to fruition the artwork we now see on the Chung Mei bridge.
