Big Drum, Hong Kong's first all-female Japanese Taiko Orchestra. Since its establishment in 2004, he has participated in a number of theater productions and performed in various cultural events of different sizes in Hong Kong; now it is based in Mui Wo, Lantau Island. The members come from all corners of the art world, with different backgrounds, including improvisation theater, music theory research, film creation, and even dance and violin performance. The orchestra completed its first concert in the spring of 2011.
